If making own pastry, line 9" pie plate and flute the edge but do not prick.
Preheat oven to 450F
Beat all ingredients with electric mixer until smoothly combined. Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Bake for 10 mins then lower temperature to 350 and bake for another 30 to 40 mins until just firm in the centre. A metal skewer or knife will come out clean when inserted.
Serve warm with whipped cream.
