A quick and hearty, kid-friendly meal.
Brown and drain ground beef. In a 2 qt. casserole dish sprayed with non-stick spray, combine beef, green beans, tomatoe sauce, and salt/pepper. Then, using mashed potatoes left over from a previous meal, or using instant mashed potatoes prepared according to package directions, spread a layer of mashed potatoes over the top of the casserole. Loosely cover and microwave 4-5 minutes or until warmed through
