I serve this with yogart, rice and pita.
Trim and string beans. RInse under cold water and set aside
Melt the butter in a large saucepan over med heat adn saute the onions until soft and transparent. Add the meat and brown stirring regularly for about 5 min. Stir in the beans, sprinkle with salt mix well, cover the pan and cook another 5 min, stiring once in a while.
Pour in the chopped tomatoes. Season with spices and more salt. Bring to boil than cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Serve with rice.
