Try this Green Beans with Bacon-Balsamic Vinaigrette recipe, or contribute your own.
Cook green beans in boiling water for 2 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water. Drain well; set aside. Cook bacon in a small skillet over medium-high heat until crisp. Remove bacon from skillet. Crumble; set aside. Add shallots to bacon fat in skillet; saute 1 minute. Add almonds; saute 1 minute. Remove and cool. Add sugar and vinegar; stir until sugar dissolves. Add crumbled bacon. moraki 1y agoLovely, me and partner both liked and he's not a fan of green beans but we do both love vinegar :) omitted the almonds though as I'm not a nut fan and was perfect for me!
rotts4me 1y agoHubby isn't a big vinegar fan but i would make this again. Nice flavor.

Ange325 3y agoReally good, I omitted the almonds because my husband doesn't like any sort of nuts in his food. I used 4 slices of bacon instead of 2, more bacon never hurts!
