Smoky grilled chicken is tossed with rich and creamy Fettucine Alfredo.

"Came out (almost) perfect for me.One suggested change: leave the making of the sauce until after the chicken and the pasta are done. Once you have the cream and butter to a boil, add the salt+pepper and immediately mix recipe together. Leaving the sauce on heat ANY longer than necessary messes up the sauce.

Other than that, great recipe and easy."

Ingredients

Are you making this?
3 Chicken breast
1/8 teaspoon Salt
1/8 teaspoon Pepper
1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
8 ounces Fettucine; uncooked
Fresh parsley; chopped
1/2 cup Unsalted butter
1/2 cup Heavy cream
3/4 cup Parmesan cheese; grated
1/8 teaspoon Salt
1/8 teaspoon Pepper

Servings

Preparation

Oil grate on grill and then preheat.

Season chicken breasts with 1st salt and pepper, and then garlic powder. Set aside. When grill is hot, cook chicken for 5-7 minutes per side, or until juices run clear. Set aside to rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Once sliced, set aside until ready to toss into fettucine later.

Cook fettucine in a large pot of boiling water for 8-9 minutes, or until al dente.

While noodles are cooking, prepare alfredo sauce by melting butter into cream in a separate small pot. Once butter is melted into cream, add parmesan cheese and 2nd salt and pepper . Stir to incorporate all ingredients into the sauce. Keep on low heat.

Drain noodles and then place drained noodles back into large pot. Add the alfredo sauce & grilled chicken and toss. Top with fresh chopped parsley. Serve with garlic bread on the side and/or a fresh salad.

Simple and very tasty. I added broccoli. Separated it into 2 bowls, one for chicken and the other for salmon.
