This delicate tasting smoothy might remind you of the consistency of eggnog. If you like banana smoothies or banana and payapa smoothies, you will surely like this one too. There are guanabana growing in the garden at La Hacienda.


1/2 guanbana; peeled and seeds removed
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 cups natural yogurt
2 cups milk

Original recipe makes 6 Servings



It takes a bit of time to seed this fruit. Once this is done, the rest is easy. Just put it all in a blender until smooth. You can add grated nutmeg if you like. Also, you can use the stevia growing in the garden for a sweetner instead of sugar. Some people use evaported milk when making this smoothie - readily available in the grocery store.
