Cream shortening and sugar. Beat eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add to sugar/shorting mixture. Sift dry ingredients. Add to shortening/egg mixture, alternating with sour cream. Drop by 1 tbsp onto cookie sheet. Cook at 375 12-15 minutes.
Frosting:
Mix together.
Frost ? of the completely cooled cookies. Mix 2 oz melted chocolate to remaining frosting, mix thoroughly. Frost other half of cookies (note: each cookie will be ? vanilla frosting, ? chocolate frosting).
