"I like this to use up leftover ham. I use healthy request cream of chicken soup becuase my kids would not eat it if they saw a mushroom. I also omit the butter and onion, again the kids would object to onion and sometimes its just tot worth the fight. My husband likes a little breadcrumb or crushed cracker on the top. I serve it with a nice big salad. "

LChickie 3 months agoEven though I made it gluten-free my kids, my husband and I all agreed that this recipe is a keeper. It's a great use of leftovers, has a reasonable number of ingredients and tastes great. I used Progresso Gluten-Free Cream of Mushroom, and Gluten-Free noodles. I used an extra cup of noodles because it looked to liquidy. Then I spread some cheddar and corn flake crumbs on top. I cooked it in a 9x13 baking dish for 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
Grandma69 6 months agoIt was ok, but I wouldn't make our again. Kind of bland. Thought it would be more mac n cheese like.
