In a SKILLET, brown the beef with the onions, garlic and mushrooms. Put everything EXCEPT sour cream into crock pot and mix. Low 7-9 hours or High 3 hours. Stir in sour cream 1 hour before stirring. Serve over hot buttered noodles or rice.
