8 Hash Browns; frozen "patties"
8 slices Goetta
3 cups Sharp cheddar; shredded
1 cup Monterey jack cheese; shredded
1 Scallion; , thinly sliced
7 Egg
1 cup Milk
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon Black pepper

Original recipe makes 8 Servings



Place hash brown patties in a single layer in a greased 13x9 baking dish.

Top with goetta slices, sprinkle with cheeses and scallions.

In a bowl, beat eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Pour over layers in dish.

COver with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

Uncover and bake 15 minutes more or until edges are golden brown and knife inserted into center comes out clean.


Can be assembled night before and refrigerated.
