Suggest a better descriptionIn a large soup pot over medium heat, saute the onion in the oil until soft, 3 to 5 minutes. Add the meat and pepper and salt to taste; stir the meat withe the onion until mixed. Suate for 6 minutes. Add 2 cups of water and the barbeque sauce and bring too a boil; then turn the heat down to low and simmer for 10 minutes. Add the potatoes and simmer until tender, 15 to 20 minutes. Serve over hot long-grain rice.
Serves 6.
