Based off of Cracker Barrel's hashbrown casserole, this is a breeze to mix up the night before and bake fresh in the morning.
Preheat the oven to 425. Combine all ingredients in large bowl. Grease a 9x13 pan with butter and pour mixture into it. Bake for 45-60 minutes or until the surface of the hashbrowns are nicely browned.
You can mix the casserole together and leave in the fridge overnight. Simply pull it out and stick it in the oven while it preheats! The ham is optional, if you want to make it as a side, just leave it out.
