Suggest a better descriptionpeel apples and cut up in pieces. Fill 5 quart pan with apples with lid. Add sugar and cinnamon. The apples should fill the pan. Simmer on low for approximately 4-5 hours depending on heat. Stir often. When you see apples are cooked down and mushy, takeoff stove and use potato masher to make sure there are not a lot of clumps. Cool and put in storage containers. You can also freeze this.
