1/2 c Sugar
1 ts Ground cinnamon
8 md Apples; pared, quartered
1/2 c Water

Original recipe makes 1



Put apples and water in saucepan; cover. Simmer 15-20 min or until apples are tender. Remove from heat. Stir in sugar and cinnamon. If a smooth applesauce is desired, press through sieve or food mill. Serve warm or cold. 4 cups. Posted to EAT-L Digest by Shawn Zehnder Lea on Jan 5, 1998

This is the recipe with double the apples and water, but the same amount of sugar and cinn to make it healthier and a little tart.
