Suggest a better descriptionTurn crock pot on low and let heat up. Measure yogurt starter in a small glass bowl, leave out of fridge to let warm up a little.
Pour milk in sauce pan and heat over medium heat stirring frequently. Heat up to 185°.
Remove pan from burner, cover with a lid, and place in sink half full of cold water. Stir occasionally. Let the milk cool down to 100°, remove pan from water.
Pour about one cup of milk in with yogurt starter and stir together then pour in the crockpot with the milk and stir together.
Unplug crockpot and wrap a heavy towel around it and let sit for 10 hours. Refrigerate.
Save 1/2 cup yogurt as starter for your next batch.
