Try this delicious ginger ale from Alton Brown!
Boil ginger, sugar and 1/2 cup water over medium-high heat until sugar is dossolved. Steep fpor 1 hour.
Filter using a fine mesh strainer , pressing down the juices from the ginger. Chill in ref until room temperature.
Put in 2-liter bottle and add yeast and lemon juice and remaining water. Shake and leave bottle in room temperature for 48 hours. Open cap once a day to remove carbonation. Store in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.open cap once a day.
