"My Mom used to make this for us. It was a quick easy meal (inexpensive) and a crowd pleaser everytime. And now I make it for my 6 boys and my husband and they all love it. It is so easy I feel like I am lying to them!! The other night my son asked his friend to stay for dinner. " My Mom is an amazing cook- you have to stay!!". Thanks for reminding me of this oldie but goodie. "- Momof6boys
Place skinless chicken legs in a roasting pan and bake covered for 60 mins. at 375 degrees. Drain all juices and save for another purpose. While legs are cooking make the sauce.
Combine sugar with cornstarch.
Add water, honey and minced garlic in a saucepan. Bring to a boil stirring constantly. When chicken legs are cooked place in a heat proof casserole. Pour sauce over and serve immediately or keep warm in a low oven.

jlburgart 1 year agoThese were delicious! The sauce is yummy and the chicken practically fell off the bone. I used a combination of legs and thighs with the skin on which got nice and golden. We will have again!!
sayshan 1 year agoI little too sweet for me. I would use less brown sugar and more soy sauce next time.

Sunshinesarah 2 years agoDon't forget to add the soy sauce too! Very good! A little oriental but not overwhelming. Will use sauce again and would be good on vegetables and rice.

Angelwoutwings0827 3 years agoA big big big hit. We make this dish as least once a month and always have frozen chicken legs in the freezer because if we can figure out a dinner for a night this is a great option.
