Easy Hot Wings that come out of the oven crispy without the hassle of deep frying.

Ingredients

20 chicken wings; (separated at the drumette)
1/2 cup butter; (melted)
1/2 cup hot sauce; (like Tabasco, or Frank's)
3/4 cup Flour
1/2 teaspoon Cayenne
1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon Salt

Preparation

1Mix flour, cayenne, garlic and salt in a large zip-lock bag (or a bowl).

2Coat wings in flour mixture and place on ungreased cookie sheet.

3Place in refrigerator to cool and firm up the coating for an hour or so.

4Preheat oven to 400F.

5Mix melted butter and hot sauce in a bowl.

6Gently coat wings in sauce mixture and place back on cookie sheet in single uncrowded layer.

7Bake for 45 min turning half way.

8Serve with blue cheese dressing to dip.

for possible good results, toss them with the flour mixture in a ziptop bag, and chill them in the fridge for 40 minutes, and gently dipped them in the sauce so you won't wash the flour off. Baked for the 40 minutes, turning once. When they come out of the oven, take them off the foil and put them on a rack so they won't get soggy on the bottom.

Good and spicy but no other tangible flavors in there. I wanted more butter or garlic tinge so I'll give this a second try adjusting the ingredients. Also, the other comment is correct, Don't be fooled by the wax paper or the butter coating, it WILL stick and ruin everything. Thanks for the recipe.

worst directions ever... Anyone reading this... DO NOT COOK ON UNGREASED PAN.... ruined about 5lbs of chicken wings, all stuck to my pan. Skin with the seasoned flour and sauce all baked to tge pan, ripping the wings apart as i try and separate them from the pan... totally ruined the meal. against my better judgment, next time ill grease the damn pan.

Finally an easy baked wings recipe! These were great! Added some apple cider vinegar and honey.
