Hot appetizer dip with artichokes and parmesan cheese.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Drain artichoke hearts and chop coarsely.
Slice up onions.
Mix together the chopped artichokes, mayonnaise and 1/2 cup of the parmesan cheese.
Spread in a 1 quart casserole dish. Top dip with remaining parmesan cheese.
Bake for 20 minutes at 350°.
Before serving top with sliced green onion.
If you double the recipe increase baking time to 45 minutes. A doubled recipe is good for a large gathering where others will also be bringing food.
I used Hellman's low-fat mayonnaise. I also used freshly grated (finely shredded) Parmesan cheese.
