This has become a family tradition at Christmas
1. Position knife blade in food processor bowl; add mushrooms, and process until finely chopped.
2. Coat a large skillet with cooking spray; place over medium-high heat until hot. Add mushrooms, shallots, and garlic; saute 2 minutes or until tender. Stir in flour, marjoram, and pepper. Gradually add 1/4 cup consomme;stir well. Cook, stirring constantly, 5 minutes or until liquid evaporates.(Mixture will be very thick.) Remove from heat, and stir in parsley; set aside.
3. Trim fat from steaks. Coat skillet with cooking spray, and place overmedium-high heat until hot. Add steaks, and cook 1 1/2 minutes on each side or until browned. Drain on paper towels. Place steaks on a rack coated with cooking spray, and place rack in a shallow roasting pan. Drizzle 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce over each steak; top each with 3 tablespoons mushroom mixture.
4. Place 1 phyllo sheet on a work surface (keeping remaining phyllo covered); lightly coat phyllo sheet with cooking spray(or brush with melted butter, if you prefer). Fold phyllo sheet in thirds crosswise to form a 13- x 5 1/2-inch rectangle; lightly coat with cooking spray. Fold rectangle in half crosswise to form a 6 1/2- x 51/2-inch rectangle; lightly coat with cooking spray. Cut a 1/4-inch strip from short side of rectangle; set aside. Drape phyllo rectangle over a steak, tucking edges under steak. Lightly coat with cooking spray. Crumple 1/4-inch phyllo strip into a ball, and place on top of phyllo-wrapped steak. Return steak to rack in roasting pan. Repeat procedure with remaining phyllo sheets and cooked steaks. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes or to desired degree of doneness.
5. Combine remaining consomme, wine, and cornstarch in a small saucepan;stir well. Bring to a boil; cook, stirring constantly, 1 minute. Serve with steaks.
