Mix all the ingredients together in order given, until batter is smooth.
Pour into greased and floured 1 1/2 quart casseroll.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes - then at 325 degrees for 30 minutes more.
Cool a little and remove from the pan.
Serve with butter.
