Easy to fix great tasting Italian favoriate.


6 each Italian Sausages; Sweet, Mild, or Hot as you prefer
2 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 each Green bell pepper; cut into strips
1/2 each Red bell pepper; cut into strips
1/2 cup Onion; cut into strips
12 ounce Pizza sauce; BigOven Recipe 161218
1 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese; shredded or six slices
6 each Sour Dough Rolls; 8 inch
Aluminum Foil

Original recipe makes 6



Preheat oven to 350.

Cut rolls lengthwise but not all the way through. Pour olive oil into skillet. Cook sausage over medium heat for 10-12 minutes or until done. Remove from heat. Add peppers and onions. Sautee until soft, about 3 to 5 minutes.

Open rolls and spread 1/6 of sauce mixture into bottom of each. Sprinkle 2 ounces of cheese or place one slice over sauce. Add vegetables and sausage. Wrap in aluminum foil.

Bake for 8 minutes to 10 minutes.

Note: Turkey Italian sausage may be substituted if you prefer
