BEST COOKIE EVER!!! I love the fall time, so I have a good excuse to make these as much as I want!!! Pumpkin and chocolate combined is the best combo!!!! Moist and Delicious. A FAMILY FAVORITE!!!!!

Ingredients

Are you making this? 
2 1/4 cups Flour
1 1/2 teaspoons Pumpkin Pie Spice
1 teaspoons Baking powder
1/2 teaspoons Baking soda
1/2 teaspoons Salt
1 cups Butter; Softened
1 cups Sugar
15 ounce Pumpkin
2 Eggs
1 teaspoons Vanilla
2 cups Chocolate chips

Original recipe makes 36 Servings

Preparation

Heat oven to 375 1. Combine the first 5 ingrediants in a small bowl 2. In a large mixing bowl add Butter and Sugar and mix until creamy 3. Add the pumpkin, eggs, and vanilla to the butter and sugar bowl and mix 4. Add the flour mixture to the wet bowl. 5. Fold in the chips Spoon onto cookie sheets and bake 15 - 20 min. These cookies will not brown. Don't over cook or they will turn out dry. I get about 3 dozen out of this recipe.

Notes

When dropping the cookies on the sheet, the size that is dropped will be the size of the cookie-----they don't spread. Store in a tight container and the will stay extra moist!!!!! ENJOY!!

I made it with only half the cup of butter and it came out just fine.

Used no butter added half amount of butter and replaced with applesauce was awesome and healthier

I found that you need to add flower and they are very spongy, almost like a pancake.

If you don't care for the chocolate chips try making this cookie without them and frosting them with a cream cheese frosting. My family loves raisins and date, so we have made these cookies using a combo of both fruit and pecans.
