Ingredients

Carrot Cake:
2 cups Flour
2 cups Sugar
1 teaspoon Salt
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 1/2 cups cooking oil
4 Eggs; beaten
3 cups carrots; finely shredded
1 cup walnuts; chopped
Cream Cheese Frosting:
1 (8-oz) package cream cheese
1/4 cup butter; softened
2 cups powdered sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla

Original recipe makes 20 Servings

Preparation

Put all ingredients for cake in mixer and blend well.

Bake at 350(F) for 1 hour in loaf pan or 45 min in 13 X 9 pan

For frosting beat cream cheese and butter until well blended, add powdered sugar and vanilla and beat until creamy.
