Heat oven to 450 degrees. Cream sugar and butter until fluffy. Add flour, vanilla, salt and eggs. Beat well, then add milk. Pour mixture into the pie shells. Bake at 450 for 10 minutes, then reduce temperature to 350 degrees and continue baking 30 minutes. Cool before serving.
