2 lb Ground beef
1 tb Cumin
1/4 ts Salt
1/4 ts Black pepper
1/4 ts Cayenne Pepper; optional
1 ts Paprika
1/2 ts Onion salt
1/2 ts Oregano; ground
1 ts Chili powder
1/2 ts Garlic powder

Original recipe makes 4



Mix all dry spices together well, and mix into uncooked meat by hand. Heat spiced meat in frying pan over medium high heat until just brown, lower heat and simmer in juices until nearly dry.

Spoon into heated taco shells or flour tortillas, top with grated cheddar cheese, sour cream, tomato bits, lettuce strips, taco sauce or other toppings.

I only used half a pound and meat was seasoned nicely. We used it in soft tacos.

Goods starter but I agree too mild. I added about two table spoon of tomato paste and about one table spoon of tapatio hot sauce and doubled your ingredients.

Far too mild, this might work for one pound, but 2 pounds diluted the spices

It's nice to have a recipe when I don't have seasoning packet. I also added some beef bullion.

Not exactly the flavor I am looking for, but it works well with other items when making burittos. It has enough flavor but isn't over powering.
