This is a wonderful, easy-to-make dessert that uses fresh cranberries and common staples found in any kitchen. Serve it up with whipped cream or ice cream or just an ample slice by itself.
Spread cranberries in greased 10-in glass pie plate (or quiche plate) Sprinkle with sugar and nuts.
In separate bowl gradually mix eggs with sugar. Add flour, butter and shortening. Beat well
Pour mixture over cranberry mix. Bake at 325d. for one hour or until golden brown on top and a tooth pick comes out clean upon testing. Serve warm with ice cream or room temperature or chilled.
