Quick and easy apple crumble

"I make crumble a lot and this is a good recipe. For a slight variation, I added oats to the mix aswell which tasted good. Overall, very yummy! "

Ingredients

2 cooking apples; small to medium
2 15-ml spoonfuls granulated sugar
100 grams plain flour
50 grams butter
50 grams granulated sugar
2 1/2 ml Ground cinnamon

Preparation

Preheat oven to gas mark 4

Wash, core and slice apples. Place half the apples ion a baking dish, sprinkle over with the 15 - 30 (1 - 2 tablespoons) sugar. Place other half of apples on top.

Sieve flour and cinnamon into a bowl.

Rub in butter until it resembles fine bread crumbs

Stir in 25 gm sugar

Sprinkle over the apples

Bake until topping is pale brown. Serve warm with cream or ice cream.
