Suggest a better descriptionAdd the asparagus pieces to the water. Bring to a boil and continue to cook for 3 minutes. Drain and save 2 Tbs. of the cooking liquid. Heat the cooking oil in a heavy skillet. Add shrimp pieces and cook until the color changes..about 5 minutes. Add the asparagus, ginger, soy sauce, sugar, sherry and salt. Finally, stir in the 2 Tbs. asparagus water and continue to cook for 5 minutes.
