MISE EN PLACE: Preheat oven (top/bottom elements) to 190°C (375°F)
1) Brown ground beef in a pan. Drain fat. Add spaghetti sauce and Italian seasoning. Remove from heat.
2) In a rectangular baking dish, spread a layer of sauce mixture on the bottom.
3) Spread a thin layer of ricotta cheese over the lasagne noodles and make a layer in the baking dish, ricotta-side up.
Spread a layer of sauce over the noodles.
Sprinkle a layer of mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
4) Repeat layers (ricotta-noodles, sauce, mozzarella) until all ingredients are used up. Make sure the top layer is mozzarella.
5) Cover with aluminum foil and bake (2nd from bottom) 35-45 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 15-20 minutes, until lightly browned.
6) Let stand 10 minutes before serving. (Otherwise it won't hold its shape!)

Favorite Meaty Six Cheese Lasagna
Personally, I prefer making it this way
"I turned up the heat on traditional lasagna using a little of my favorite chili sauce and pimenton (Spanish paprika)." — Firebyrd
Crockpot Lasagna With White Sauce
A variation on this recipe
"Easy to throw together and delicious on those cold-weather days!" — Firebyrd
Classic Lasagna with Sheep's Milk Gouda
A variation on this recipe
"Bubbly, melty, and cozy. Those 3 words best describe this delicious recipe that Chef Nikki Cascone came up with to win the challenge. Why wouldn't she? Although meatless, the veggies and cheeses more than make up for the lack of protein. And it's tasty, too!" — Firebyrd
Tony's At Disney World Lasagna
A variation on this recipe
"Lasagna made with ground beef and a variety of spices and cheese which gives it a rich taste. Until now, found only at Tony's in Disneyworld, a premier restaurant found in Tony's Town Square. The restaurant is a replica of Tony's which was the favorite dining spot of Lady and the Tramp." — Firebyrd
