"I followed the steps to make this pie, but I added 1/2 cup of fresh lemon juice, the zest from 1 lemon and 1 lime, and folded in 1/2 8oz. Tub of Cool Whip. Then poured everything into the graham cracker shell. Placed the pre in the freezer for an hour then sat or in the refrigerator until ready to serve. "

Preparation

Date: Tue, 18 Jun 1996 09:26:00 CST From: Bethany Waldrop Keiper I made this pie for fathers day, and my dad just ADORED it. So did I... Im going to have to make him another one to account for all the pieces I ate! Its very refreshing. Blend cream cheese and condensed milk until very smooth. Add lime juice (fresh-squeezed is best, with bits of pulp) and mix. Stir in thawed whipped topping and pour into crust. Freeze for a firm pie or refrigerate for six hours. YUM! You cant get much easier than that. I cut up the lime rind and spelled out "DAD" on top of the pie. It was cool. Next time I will try it with all low-fat ingredients. Fantastic, easy to make with great taste and consistancy. This is a must make quick dessert, just make sure you allow enough time for it to set.
