Korean-style bar becuing is called "gogigui" which translates as 'meat roasting'.
Bulgogi is a thinly-sliced marinated beef dishwhich means 'fire meat'.
Serve with Kimchi (the Korean national dish, made from fermented vegetables).
Note: you will be marinating the beef for at least 4 hours.
1. Make marinade by combining all ingredients, except beef, in a bowl.
2. Slice the beef into 48 very thin (about 1/8" thick) 3-4" long strips. Add them to the marinade. Toss the beef with the marinade, cover, refrigerate and marinate at least 4 hours, or overnight.
3. Divide and thread 2 slices of meat on the end of each skewer.
Preheat grill to medium-high. Lightly oil the grill.
Grill the skewers, approx. 2 minutes per side, or until nicely charred.
If desired, serve the skewers with Asian hot chili sauce, sweet chili sauce, spicy mustard, or any other Asian-style condiment for dipping.
