Suggest a better descriptionPlace watercress in a large salad bowl. Combine remaining ingredients except tomatoes; toss with watercress. Garnish with tomatoes. Serve immediately. Makes 4-6 servings.
This is the "official" recipe, and published in an old cookbook that my family still uses to this day. Unfortunately, the publisher no longer exists.
I honestly love substituting fresh spinach for the watercress, as my Dad did when he came home from Korea. I let it wilt just a little bit in the fridge while I cook the main dishes.
This recipe makes a great side, different yet similar to Kim Chee. Enjoy!
