An excellent crab dip with a delicious garlic flavor! Even those who don't like seafood will love this dip.


1 8-oz package soft cream cheese
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup Cheddar cheese; shredded
2 cloves garlic; finely chopped
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 cup imitation crab meat; chopped
1/2 cup cocktail sauce

Original recipe makes 8



Soften cream cheese in microwave for 15 seconds, then mix with sour cream, cheddar cheese, garlic, and garlic salt until smooth. Then, fold in crab meat.

Form into ball or place in bowl and hollow out a dip in the middle for cocktail sauce. Chill for at least an hour, then pour cocktail sauce in dip or over ball and serve with crackers.
