From Better Homes and Gardens
Brown meat slowly, spoon off excess fat. Add next five ingredients. Simmer uncovered 30 minutes stirring occasionally.
Cook noodles in large amount boiling water till tender, drain and rinse.
Combine remaining ingredients except Mozzarella cheese.
Place half the noodles in 13x9x2 baking dish sprayed with PAM
Spread with half the cheese filling.
Add half the Mozzarella cheese and half the meat sauce.
Repeat layers.
Bake at 375 degrees about 30 minutes. Let stand about ten minutes before cutting in squares
You can make early and regrigerate. Be sure to allow 15 minutes or so longer in the oven.
I use noodles that are boiled, otherwise it turns out too dry. Use Graziano's Italian Sausage if you can get it. That's made in Des Moines by an Italian family. Use real Ricotta cheese.
