Lavender Poppy Seed Dressing

A beautiful dressing for vegetables or fruit.


1 cup Vinegar
1 tablespoon Lavender; dried
1 cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Dry mustard
1/4 cup Onion; chopped
1 cup Canola oil
1 teaspoon Kosher salt
3 tablespoons Poppy Seeds

Original recipe makes 3



Combine vinegar and dried lavender. Microwave 1 minute. Cool completely and strain when lavender is infused and the vinegar takes on a pink hue, 1 hour or longer if desired. In a blender, add the strained vinegar, sugar, dry mustard, onion, salt, and canola oil. Blend until well combined. Add poppy seeds and pulse to combine.
