Use 2 loaf pans. Sprinkle pecans on the bottom of pans. Mix all other ingredients and pour over pecans. Bake at 350 for 55 minutes.
Glaze: Put all ingredients into sauce pan and cook until sugar dissolves then pour over cake while still hot.
