Ready in 30 minutes
I often Double this Recipe because the cookies are so wonderful.
Preheat the oven to 375.
Cream the butter, and sugars together in a large bowl.
Beat in the egg and vanilla until well blended.
Sift together the flour and baking soda and salt and then gradually blend in the batter.
Stir in the nuts and chips.
Drop rounded teaspoon size on greased cookie sheets then pat down with the palm of your hand.
Bake only for 9 Minutes then take the cookies out and let sit on the pan for 1 minutes then remove to rack to cool.

ChickieX 1y agoI make these all the time. They're a huge hit in my house. Sometimes I leave out the nuts, add a teaspoon of cinnamon & trade white chocolate chips for cinnamon chips. This recipe turns out perfect every time!
Jackiechan042003 2y agoYum. Did change things up. Used 1/4 cup for brown sugar and regular sugar. Used 1 tsp of baking powder instead of baking soda. Rolled dough and did not flatten cookies as directed and the were so soft and sinfully good. Will make these again!
Bigrikfishing 2y agoi added m&ms, coconut, and some peanut butter to this recipe, awesome monster cookies!
Bigrikfishing 3y agoI added 1 cup shredded coconut to a double batch, family loved them. Thanx
Cstone09 4y agoMy family & I loved these cookies! I made a double batch thinking a single wouldn't be enough, but a double ended up making 48 big cookies. I definitely didn't need that many. Also, I only cooked them for 7 minutes and they were perfect.

LoveMyHusband29 4y agoThese were great! I love the flavor, but only baked them for 7-8 minutes. After 9 mins, they were a little over done. All in all, I love these cookies!
Shylomayes 4y agoNot a big fan. Cookies were flat and not that tasty.
NikkyBar40 4y agoDelicious. The best part is that it was not too sweet. Excellent. Highly recommended!!! ??
