1 pound Sausage
1 pound Ground beef
1 12-oz can Tomato; diced
1 13-oz Pergo Traditional spaghetti sauce
4-6 cups Cottage cheese
1 cup Parmesan cheese; grated
2 tablespoons Parsley flakes
2 tablespoons Sugar
2 Eggs
1 8oz box oven ready lasagna noodles
7 cups Mozzerella cheese; shredded
Mac's Lasagna Preparation -
Preheat oven to 375.
Brown sausage and ground beef then drain.
Drain the water from the dice tomatoes.
Mix dice tomatoes and Pergo spaghetti sauce into sausage and ground beef. Cover and simmer sauce for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, combine cottage cheese, parmesan cheese, parsley flakes, and eggs in bowl. Set aside.
In glass 9 x 13 deep pan layer half the lasagna noodles. Next layer half the sauce. Layer half the cottage cheese mixture over sauce. Follow with a layer of half the mozzerella cheese (option).
Repeat layers.
Bake at 375 for 30 minutes.
Let stand 15 minutes before cutting into squares.
