Finally, something most kids like!

Ingredients

Are you making this? 
1 lb Ground beef
1 can (12 oz) Cream of mushroom soup
1 bag Tater Tots

Original recipe makes 4 Servings

Preparation

In glass baking dish, add 1 pound raw hamburger. Sprinkle with salt & pepper. Add soup and mix with the hamburger. Add Tater Tots to top as a single layer. Bake at 375F for 1 hour.

Serve: with Ketchup, but of course!

Optional: Top with shredded cheddar and bake an additional 5 minutes until melted.

Notes

Not glamourous but tasty nonetheless. Kids would live on this if we'd let them.

very adaptable, can change it up anyway you want. I add cheddar cheese soup over the meat and cream of mushroom.

It was very good, but I agree with the others, in that the beef should be browned - and drained.

My son is the pickiest eater EVER and he LOVES this dish.... I browned and seasoned the meat (with some chopped onion, salt and pepper) before putting it in the oven with the tater tots. Don't forget the ketchup! :)

My kids wouldn't eat it, even with a layer of melted cheddar on top. I'm not giving up on the recipe though. Next time I might try browning the meat first. Maybe it was a texture thing...
