Mix crumbled cornbread, bread, rice, pecans, chopped apple, cooked sausage, and seasonings in a large bowl.
Food process the onions, celery, bell pepper, and jalapeno to a semi-liquid consistency. Add to cornbread mixture.
Add broth until is a mushy (but not runny) consistency. It may not require all 3 cups.
Place in a heavy dutch oven and bake at 325 for 45 minutes.
I like to make it the night before to let the flavors meld. If you do this, take it out of fridge 1-2 hours before putting in the oven.
