Mango Lassi

2 tb Light brown sugar
1/2 cn (large) mango pulp
Ice cubes
1 qt Vanilla yogurt -or-
1 qt Plain yogurt plus

Original recipe makes 1 Servings



put equal parts yogurt and mango pulp into blender until blender is about 3/4 full. add ice cubes until blender is full with an inch to spare. Cover and blend until frothy. For a plain lassi, omit the mango pulp, add a bit more brown sugar to the plain yogurt, and add 1 - 2 Tb rose water Posted to EAT-L Digest by Tania Hewes on Sep 3, 1997

Made it with vanilla yogurt and a 15 oz jar of mango with syrup. Not too sweet. Very tasty.
