Brothers outstanding way to cook shrimp....

6 Limes; (Juiced)
1/3 cup Tequila
1/3 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon Salt; to taste
2 tablespoons Original Old Bay Seasoning; to taste
1 teaspoon Pepper; ground
2 pounds Shrimp; Large/Jumbo

Original recipe makes 4 Servings

In a bowl mix together Lime, Tequila, Olive Oil, Salt, Sea Food Seasoning, and pepper. Mix in shrimp and marinate for 30-45 min. If marinate doesn't cover shrimp, stir the mixture occasionally. Be sure not to leave the shrimp in marinate to long, otherwise it will start to cook in the lime juice.

You will need 1 package of wooden skewers(DO NOT SOAK)

Skewer shrimp, but leave a little space between each one.

Heat up BBQ. Place the skewers in grill (med/hot). BBQ one side of the shrimp for about 2 min, then flip them over for another 1-2 min. Shrimp should be pink on both sides. Don?t worry if the skewers burn, this will add to the flavor.

Pull the shrimp off the skewers, or serve them on the skewers.

The shrimp is great with cocktail sauce.

This is an awesome recipe!!! My wife doesn't like shrimp at all and after getting her to try one she was hooked. I've also used this marinade with halibut steaks!

Very good recipe! I like quick and easy and this is definitely it! Nice flavor on the shrimp! We deginitely make again - prob for family party. Also, I put some of the shrimp premarinated in the freezer. We'll see how that goes.

My family really enjoyed this. Since I am not a big Old bay seasoning person, I will use less next time.

This is an excellent recipe, it works fantastic on chicken as well! The chicken will stand up to the marinade better than shrimp will, but the outside will still start to "cook" with all the citrus in the marinade. Makes for a great easy meal.
