Place brisket in 13x9 (3-quart) glass baking dish or large resealable plastic bag. In medium bowl, combine all remaining ingredients; mix well. Pour over brisket, turning to coat; cover dish or seal bag. Refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
Heat oven 325F.
Drain brisket, reserving marinade. Place brisket and half of marinade (about 1-3/4 cups) in 13x9 baking dish; cover. Discard remaining marinade. Bake at 325 for 4 hours or until tender. 8 servings. Typically we marinate it overnight and cook for 4 hours (no longer).
It is delicious!

Marcia331I fixed this for a dinner party. It was amazing. I bought an 11# brisket so I had to adjust the marinade accordingly. Marinated in a turkey roasting bag overnight. Next AM I poured out half the marinade, poked the bag, resealed and roasted at 250F. It was getting done too early according to friends, so turned down to 225. Took out of oven when it reached internal temp of 170F. Wrapped tight in foil and refrigerated, saving juices. When cooled, trimmed fat and sliced. Reheated covered with the juices with oven temp at 200 about 1 1/2 hrs before guests arrived. It was so juicy and tender. Awesome.3m ago

FreshenufTerrific brisket!! I put all the ingredients in a slow cooker and let it cook for 5 hours. I thickened the sauce with a little cornstarch. This saved a great deal of time and my family loved it!6y ago
chi_wawa_mamaThis was wonderful. I used a much bigger brisket (11lbs) I just x4 the marinade. I also marinated it one of those bags you cook a turkey in. I added all ingrediance and squeezed all of the air from the bag. In the morning I removed a little over 1/2 the marinade secured thed turkey bag, popped a couple of holes in the bag and baked it for 7hrs. The meat fell apart and it was fantastic!6y ago
