Martha's Jell-O Salad

Ready in 45 minutes

Jell-O salad with crushed pineapple topped with sour cream/cream cheese frosting.


12 oz Grape or Cherry Jell-O; 2 small or 1 large
2 cups boiling water
1 can crushed pineapple; drained
1 can pie filing; blueberry or cherry
8 oz sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup sugar
16 oz cream cheese
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Original recipe makes 12 Servings



Pour boiling water over Jell-O and stir until dissolved.

Stir in pie filling and pineapple.

Put in frige to set


Mix sour cream, cream cheese, sugar and vanilla together until smooth.

Spread over Jell-O after it is set.

Sprinkle with pecans.

My greatgrandmother made this for every holiday meal and our family thinks it is just wonderful. I have made it for potlucks and many people love it too.
