2 lg Eggs; beaten
1/4 c Mayonnaise
8 tb Butter
1 lb Crab meat
1/2 c bread crumbs; Soft
1/2 ts Salt
2 tb Parsley; minced

Original recipe makes 6



GENTLY BLEND ALL INGREDIENTS, except the butter. Shape into 8-10 crab cakes and refrigerate 30 minutes. Melt butter in a large skillet and saute crab cakes until golden brown on all sides, 5-7 minutes. Serve with lemon wedges or an appropriate sauce.

Good recipe, I used less butter than called for. Could use some spices.

Tried these because I had everything on hand. They turned out great. I did cut the butter by 2 tbs and only added 6. Added a dash of hot sauce and served with louisiana hot sauce on the side. Will be making these again.
