This was Great , a recipe I will make again
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Place sweet potatoes on a baking sheet and roast until easily pierced with a fork, about 1 hour.
Peel the sweet potatoes while still hot. Combine the potatoes, butter, salt, orange juice, maple syrup, and chicken broth in a large bowl. Mash with a potato masher until the potatoes are smooth. Serve immediately. (This can be prepared a day ahead and reheated).
This was wonderful! a recipe I will make again.
mst2 2y agoWhen I made it I took a test taste, and it was too sweet and orangy, but the next day when I reheated for my lunch, it was delicious. Just took time for flavors to meld.
isisrae 3y agoThis was really sweet and I also thought had too much butter. I'd add less maple syrup and butter if I tried this again.

cbrob53 6y agoVery good! Not too sweet. My son (22 yrs old) loved them. Easy to make.
Heartsblood 6y agoGood, but I would use less orange juice next time. It tasted too orange-y.
vodka0825 10y agoI really liked this recipe but it was a little too sweet for my taste :)
kryan 10y agoThis is "meatless" but not vegetarian. Note the chicken broth.
