Suggest a better description(To thaw the creamed spinach in a microwave oven, place the pouch on a microwave-safe plate, cut a slit in the pouch so the steam can escape, and microwave it on high power until the spinach is thawed, 45 seconds to 1 minute.)
1. Place a rack in the center of the oven and preheat the oven to 375?F.
2. Crumble the ground beef into a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook, stirring and breaking up the lumps with a wooden spoon, until the beef browns all over and is cooked through, 4-5 minutes. Stir in the tomatoes, garlic, oregano, and basil.
3. Spoon 1 cup of the meat sauce on the bottom of a 3-quart glass or ceramic casserole. Arrange the ziti in an even layer on top of the sauce. Pour the remaining meat sauce over the ziti. Spread the creamed spinach evenly over the top with a knife. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil. (The dish can be made up to 1 day in advance to this point. Refrigerate until baking time.)
4. Bake the ziti until bubbling, 30 minutes. Remove the baking dish from the oven and carefully remove the aluminum foil and set aside. Scatter the mozzarella evenly over the top and re-cover the dish with the foil. Let the ziti rest until the cheese melts, 10 minutes. Serve at once.
