Cookies just like mom and grandma used to make.
Cream the butter and sugar. Stir in vanilla and water. Add flour and nuts. Mix until blended. Cover and chill for three hours. Preheat oven to 325. Shape dough into balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for about 15 minutes. Remove from pan to cool. Before completely cook, roll cookies in powdered sugar for coating. Store at room temp.
