This is such a nice spice cake to serve all through the holidays.
Preheat oven to 350. Grease and lightly flour three round 9*2 inch cake pans. Mix together 1st three ingredients. In a separate bowl, beat butter for 30 seconds. Beat in brown sugar until well mixed. Beat in molasses at low speed. Alternately all flour mixture and milk, beating on low speed after each addition. Divide evenly between prepared pans, spreading to level. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes. Remove from pan; cool completely on rack.
